Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Nausea

Nausea can be explained as a feeling of uneasiness and distress in the stomach, with an urge to vomit. It is not a disease in itself, but an indication, which might be experienced in case of many diseases. The main symptoms of the nausea are an urge to vomit, stomach ache, lightheadedness and sweating. The situation is not very serious and can be controlled by using home remedies. Listed below are some easy and effective home remedies for nausea treatment.
  1. Take one glass cold water and add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and 1 tbsp honey to it. Have this solution whenever you feel nauseous. It is very effective in treatment of nausea.

  2. A cup of ginger tea would be the best and easiest method for nausea treatment.

  3. Add some wheat germ in warm milk. Have this concoction in every one hour. This is helpful in treatment of nausea.

  4. Add ½ cup of rice in 2 cups of water and boil it for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once rice gets cooked, filter the rice water and drink this water when it is warm.

  5. Squeeze fresh lime in glass of water and add pinch of salt to it. Drink this whenever feel nauseous.

  6. Take about 1/2 tsp of grounded cumin seed and have it with water. It is also very advantageous in nausea treatment.

  7. Peppermint or chamomile tea would be useful in treating the nauseating sensation. So drink peppermint or chamomile tea when you feel nauseous.

  8. Take one glass of lukewarm water and add ½ tsp baking soda to it and drink it. But, avoid this during pregnancy.

  9. Fibrous food proves to be beneficial when someone is suffering from nausea. Some fiber rich foods are banana, apple and brown bread. It is good to have a healthy diet, like add fruits and vegetables in daily diet and avoid oily, spicy and tinned foods.
