Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Heart Palpitation

Heart beats occur at usual speed and are regular in nature. When these beats become uneven and strong or powerful, they are called as heart palpitations. The most common sign of heart palpitations are amplified pulse rate and a thrashing feeling in the chest. Heart palpitation can be control by home remedies. Some easy and effective home remedies for heart palpitation are:
  1. Take one glass of water and add half cup of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey in it. Drink this decoction daily before going to bed. This is an excellent remedy for heart palpitations treatment.

  2. Easiest and best remedy to treat palpitations naturally would be to eat a guava empty stomach. Eat a guava daily in morning. It would treat palpitations and also give relaxed feeling.

  3. Make a mixture of Indian spikenard and pinch of cinnamon and camphor. Have this in dose of 2 or 3 grams. One can also take it as a concoction in doses of 40 to 60 ml, thrice every day.

  4. Take one glass water and squeeze half lemon in it and then mix about 1 tsp of honey. Daily intake this mixture would decrease the problem of heart palpitations.

  5. Another remedy for heart palpitation would be to have fresh grape juice daily. This would give immediate relieve to person suffering from palpitations.

  6. Take some snake gourd leaves and prepare paste of it with water. Now squeeze the juice out of it by using cheesecloth. Have this 1 to 2 tablespoon thrice a day.

  7. Take equal quantities of dry coriander, aniseed and jaggery, and then make a powdery mixture. Have around 6 grams of this mixture after each meal.

  8. For treatment of heart palpitation increase the intake of fresh fruits and vegetables in daily diet. And also avoid taking caffeinated beverages like alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. These all increase the happening of heart palpitations.

  9. Include some physical activities or exercises in the regular daily living. Swimming, cycling and some other outdoor sports are good ways to keep the heart healthy.
