Lumbago is a medical name used to explain pain in the lumbar part, or lower back. Lumbago is explained as mild to severe ache or uneasiness in the lower back portion. Lumbago or lower back ache affects lots of people and is possibly one of the chief reasons, why people are missing work, other events and activities. The ache can be acute (rapid and harsh) or continual if it has lasted more than three months. Lumbago frequently happens with younger people whose job involves lots of physical effort and it is also very common in elderly people (whose age is more than 60 years).
In maximum cases, it is not possible to find out the accurate cause of Lumbago. In some of the cases, however, it is probable to recognize the cause. Often, patients of Lumbago can also suffer from disorders like deformation of natural spine curvature, slip disc (or brittle bones), or very rarely, skeletal damage because of tumours or infection.

- An unexpected failure to control bowel movements or bladder

- A dull, aching pain in the lower back which is come with reduced power or muscle bulkiness in either one or both legs.
